Hey guys,
I have for sale a like new Nissin Billet Front Brake caliper for the stock sized rotor. This was mounted and rode down the street and then removed. The bike ended up selling before I was able to really enjoy it. Comes in the original box and packaging.
Paid $1,500 for it, and selling for $750 + shipping.
This is the exact same brake caliper that Team HRC Honda is running as well as HEP Suzuki.
I’m interested in the Caliper, what year of bike did this come off? Does the box mention the years it will fit? Can you possible upload a current photo with it off the bike. Thanks
Yep PM sent
Updated application list
they don’t normally fit the stock carrier pin locations are slightly different
The Shop
I’m pretty sure he bought it from this guy. It’s not the differential bore caliper Honda uses but it looks like the other design with the same size pistons. I’m not sure where he’s sourcing them.
They fit totally fine for me.
And I didn't buy from them (oemdirtbikeparts.com) but do have another source.
The used billet caliper is sold. But I do have another new.
the “ oemdirtbikeparts.com “ guys sells them new on mxlocker for $1100 from time to time:

For clarification there are 2 different versions available ? One with equal diameter pistons & another with different correct? Does one work better with different master cylinders or do they really both need to be run with a Honda master?
Thanks 👍🏻
That's a good question. Let me take a look.
Didn’t the 2019-up Honda450/250 come with the two different sizes piston 27mm/30mm in the front master cylinder. The previous 2018-older bikes uses the dual 27mm pistons?
Bingo as that is exactly what I was thinking as well
I believe Yamaha did this as well a few years ago. Something about better initial tip in / bite / feel with the smaller one but more force / power with the bigger one. Or was it the other way around? LoL
The idea with a smaller piston on the leading edge is to create less initial grab/jerk that results in a more progressive modulation/control feel overall.
For my slow-ish speed, I experienced this differential piston setup as 2 different personalities in the braking system. A low speed, less grabby mode and a higher grip, more powerful mode.
This personality ^^^ is amplified by the billet construction. Make no mistake about it, the stock cast version and this billet version feel markedly different.
Your mileage may vary obviously and I found that the better the rider, the more they preferred the billet construction and differential piston setup.
And all riders and non-riders prefer the billet bling 100% of the time.
Great, so now I absolutely must purchase a billet one for my yz250 build.... LoL Go dig around in those black boxes & find me an old one off one of your Yamahas Tony...
Here to help - on it!
(OP, I am not selling any calipers, no worries)
How much are you selling your remaining new unit for?
Hope you enjoy the caliper!
Thanks for all the knowledge!
