Getting into road biking and am curious if any of the moto gear or accessory companies make any road bicycling kits.  I searched and can’t find any.

I my self have recent gotten into road cycling pretty heavy the last few years.   I am waiting for alpine stars to make a cycling kit that is the same design/ color ways of the mx gear.

If you have other Moto buddies that want the same moto related kit as you, you’d be surprised at how few items you need to order to have full custom kits made exactly as you want them . Contact Dave at www.squadra.com , they’ve made kits for a ton of moto companies over the years and would happily get you dialled in with whatever look you are going for .

I don't know, but some of you are using "kit" and "colorway" in the same post, in clear violation of the Vitard rulebook. Ouch, that's going to be a stiff penalty.

I thought this was going to be about buying a kit to make my YZ250 into a bicycle. Be a lot of parts to shave to do that.

Check Leatt, I don't know if they ended up putting them out or not. But they had a giant bike apparel catalog they put out for pre order for dealers for 2024. That catalog was 800 pages. Last I looked it shrunk down to only a couple hundred so they may not have  produced the stuff that was in that catalog.

I saw road style shorts, bibs and jerseys and more in it. I was really excited about all of it. But then I went back to look again after buying a EMTB and the current 24 catalog was much smaller. Not sure if maybe those products will come out for 25 or if the cycling market has cooled off so much that they decided not to make the stuff.

I would also vote for getting a kit from an actual cycling company. As others have stated, the kits made by moto brands are going to be outsourced

I live in area with good road cycling loops, I see several groups/ teams/ clubs? that all have the same kits … I try to get in the mix with my 20 year old black spandex and worn out Oneal mx jerseys😂..

I just went back and looked again, the pre order catalog was 636 pages long and the final was 39 pages. There was a lot of info and details in the pre order catalog that was not in the final one. SO its not like its 100's of pages of products that were not put into the final catalog.

I did see that some of the items are on Leatt's consumer website. But are not in stock right now. This is one of the jersey's. They say it is MTB, but to me it looks like the road style stuff. They have matching bib style shorts too. Some of the shorts show in stock. Perhaps they made a smaller run of these items, or maybe they are a late 24 or early 25 item.

leatt might be okay. their mtb gloves are pretty good. ppl wear road style jerseys on XC bikes. alot of ppl wear bibs with shoulder straps no matter what the bike and wear trail shorts over the bibs on nonxc mtb

100% Exceeda.

not many years ago FMF done two kits, no chance of seeing any over here in the UK though and I think they quit making them now. I’d buy one in a heartbeat if they were available now.

RYNO-POWER do a kit too.

Ryno Power kit is made by Squadra . They also have done stuff for Fox, Honda, KTM, Nitro Circus, FMF, Thor, ARMA Energy , Monster Energy and  a bunch of others over the years .
Just as a general FYI no moto companies actually produce their own kit , they all outsource. Unfortunately a lot to cheap Chinese garbage factories but quite a few to US companies.
I was in that business for quite a few years so have seen how the process goes..

At one point in time fox had some really good xc racer kits that could double as road/cyclocross gear. They did away with the full zip jerseys like five years ago, could have been longer. Sucks, it was a great line for years. Now it’s all baggy enduro stuff.
I have some of the Fasthouse short sleeve jerseys I’ll wear on “recovery mtb rides or chill pace non racer boi days” but for xc race/road/cyclocross stuff, I’m going full zip.

I know it's just a fashion thing, so you do you, but moto cycling kits are like wearing your jersey to school.

Not Bicycle Road 'Kit', but Fox have just shown a new 2 piece suit for DH use at the first DH World Cup this weekend at Fort William, Scotland.

Years ago the UCI banned Lycra Skin Suits and Peakless Helmets for DH.

They've, apparently eased up on Lycra / Stretch type fabrics / Tight fitting clothing.

It's 2 piece in that it has a Jersey, with what appears to be various 'D3' type pads (and I think the same for the Bib / Pants), that then the lower, full leg section goes over, and then up over the shoulders - hence 'Bib'.

It's a bit like the thing Christian Craig used, but I think his suit was one piece?

But, there's a chance that 'someone' may just protest it's use, as part of the written rule with regards to it's use says it has to be for Sale for use in BMX and DH racing. It's only being used on a few select Fox athletes and it's not yet for sale.

I don't really care about what's worn, so long as it's safe. Me , I'll keep using my MC gear, to protect both me and my CTIs. Me in such a get up, well, it would Scar / Scare anyone that saw such a sight Woohoo

Just go get you some pedal mafia, Giordana, or Rapha. If you want to save a few bucks get neopro.
